Running it again didn’t work until I restarted the Nextcloud snap. If no one else is having this issue, I am guessing it must be related to my rclone setup, however if anyone has any insights or seen this before, I would certainly appreciate your input. I am not sure which other logs to paste here, as I use the snap version and I understand it handles apache and php by itself within the snap, and don’t want to be pasting unnecessary ones - if someone can point out the correct one to paste, I’ll be more than happy to. The Admin -> Logging area just shows some logs from 6 days ago, nothing recent or related to the crashes. If I disable previews in config.php, then the problem goes away, I can view pictures normally. opening each folder one at a time), the problem occurs regardless. I have tried generating previews both using the Preview Generator and on-demand (e.g. I have also tried generating previews for photos stored in my Nextcloud folders (not in ‘external storage’), same result. The photos are in another mount added as ‘external storage’ to Nextcloud. Plex) and it works well, albeit with increased access times sometimes. I use this setup for other things as well (e.g. I have a particular setup with my data folder - I use rclone encrypted remotes pointed at Google Drive, and the Nextcloud data folder is on /media/GDrive which is a folder on that rclone encrypted remote. Operating system and version: Ubuntu 18.04.3 I am having an issue with image previews - every time there is generation of previews, it starts ok but after a while it increases the server load exponentially to the point where the server becomes unresponsive. Question is ,how can i know the source of the problem ? each restart the log empty so i can´t see what cause the problem.I installed Nextcloud about a week ago on a DigitalOcean droplet. Question is: i read that many ppl have troubles with the new unraid 6.9.x ,myself included at the beggining. in fact in windows server 2016 everything worked fine ,i just was annoyed by the samba ram cache problem.Īlso when i try to install binhex plex or plex media server oficial ,both show the "action" button ,even if i delete the folders manually. I know the cpu "isnt" supported ,but up to now i didnt have trouble running anything in this machine. The machine is an i7 6700k in a Supermicro X11SSH-F 16GB dd42133 non ECC 2x 9210-8i in IT mode and a lot of HGST drives from 2tb up to 4 tb plus a SSD cache of 500gb and a 120gb ssd drive for the system/appdata/docker/VM on it. This started to happen since i bough the plex Media thing to try the hw encoding. My unraid box hangs completely every time i install/run/try to watch a movie (all of the above).
